Don't usher customerr to table if no service

I was very disappointed to have to wait 15 minutes at a table to receive service. I walked into the Mulbarton restaurant (Panorama Shopping Center in Mulbarton - South of Johannesburg) at around 09;50. i was ushered in and taken to a table... seemingly, that's where the service at this branch ended.

There was no waiter allocated to my table and at 10:00 I advised the same Usher (Sisanda - I think? the person ushering customers between 09:00 - 10:00 (i guess) that I hadn't been served. 5 minutes later there was still no one who had come to take my order for a drink or the meal I wanted - I of course decided to vote with my feet/wallet and left the store... all the Usher could do is to try apologise as I was walking out - it was too late then.

For me the issue is simple, the store (through the Usher made an under taking to get someone to serve)... surely it does not take 15 minutes to find out what the client was to drink. Also, if your staff makes a promise to get someone to come take my order, why does she not check to ensure that the waiter has done that?

Disappointing!
