KFC
24/7 store closes in my face

I was working late and on my way home I decided to pop into KFC to pick up supper.

I arrived at 21:50 and joined a very long drive through queue. After being stuck in the queue for 20min (there is no way to leave once another car has joined behind you) about three cars had been served out of 10 or 12.

Suddenly the queue moved rapidly, I arrived at an empty order window, I proceded to the next window which was shut. A printed A4 sign informed me that the KFC was closed for maintanence. Behind the sign a worker was gesturing that they were closed.

At no point was I approached. Heck, I had a window blantantly closed in my face because no one inside could be bothered to deal with the clients.

This complete waste of my time could easily have been avoided if even a mediocre attempt had been made to communicate with me when I joined the queue (placing the printed sign over the menu for example or having someone explain the situation in person)

I drove down the road to McDonalds and will be doing so from now on
