Primi Piatti
Disappointed

We visited Primi Piatti at the V&A Waterfront on a warm Sunday 20 October 2013. We ordered sandwiches off the menu and drinks. The waiter returned a while later informing us that the kitchen was to busy to make sandwiches. We then ordered chicken wraps, but were told that we could not do so either.

Some tourists were sitting at a table next to us and we overheard them voicing their disappointment that they could not order bread with their meal either.

An elderly lady behind us ordered a sandwich and had the same response, after which she made a fuss. The manager arrived at her table and told the lady he would see if he could do something for her. I am tired of complaining to managers to get what I ask for and also do not want to receive a 'special order'

We finished our drinks and left in search of better service.

The V&A Waterfront is an international tourist attraction, but Primi Piatti cannot serve sandwiches which are on their menu on a hot day. Maybe heating up their pasta sauces in the microwave takes less effort than putting some effort into making sandwiches.
