What an amazing waite

My husband and I decide to have a late supper after visiting my dad in hospital. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very energetic and friendly Dominique who took us to our table. I noticed that most other waiters were irritable and probably tired as it was the Monday night special. Dominique, however, maintained his spunk and friendliness. He got our order wrong when he brought us well-done steaks instead of medium rare as requested. We weren't upset as his attitude made up for the mistake. The manager however was a bit disappointing. He stood a few feet away from our table and politely pointed out that Dominique made a mistake by placing the wrong order. We didn't need to know this as he could have just apologised, offered the correct ones and then had a private talk with Dominique. It wasn't necessary to inform us (in front of the waiter) that the waiter made a mistake. I felt embarrassed for the waiter. The correct steaks arrived and the manager, while walking behind our table, asked if all was well. He did not stop walking. Dominique apologised profusely for the wrong steaks. I hope you keep him, Kenilworth Cntr! He has an amazing attitude! Thank you Dominique and well done!
