Burger King South Africa
Dishonest cashie

Cafes, Bars, Restaurants

I bought a burger yesterday. The price was R23.90 or something close to that. I handed over what I thought was R30 (1 x R20 note and 1 x R10 note) but didn't realise that the R20 note was in fact a R200 note because they look so similar. The cashier hesitated for a moment but then handed me the change as if I had given R30. I didn't understand why he hesitated but didn't think much more about it until this morning when I noticed that the R200 note I knew was in my purse was no longer there. I haven't shopped anywhere else since then and have mentally retraced my steps of yesterday and there is no doubt in my mind that this is what happened.

I no longer have my slip; I can't prove this but you might be interested to know that one of your staff steals from your customers. Ex-customer now.
