Staples in Fruit smmothis

During lunch today (14.02.2014) my husband ordered a Berry smoothie as advertised on the table, 1/4 way through the smoothies he swallowed something sharp. On investigating his drink he found a few small pieces of staples (stationery) in his iced drink!!! On calling the waiter he apologised and took the drink away and brought my husband a lime and soda (so that we could view what he was drinking!!!).
We asked to see the manager to inform her so that she could investigate it and make sure that other customers don't experience the same hazard!! She approached our table and apologised, stating that she knew where the staples came from (the stock sheets)... this makes one question if this type of incident happens often! Needless to say we ate our lunch very carefully, constantly on the look out for foreign objects! My 5 year old was with us and now we teaching him to "scratch in his food". Not a pleasant experience at all!!
