I took my staff to the Ocean Basket - Westlake for our year lunch in Dec 2013. This prompted me to return on 7 January 2014 and again on 8 January 2014.

Lunch time around 13hr45 we were seated in the almost completed empty restaurant, we ordered three Sushi - platters and at around 14hr30 it had not arrived!! I told our waiter that if the food did not come within the next 5mins then to please cancel my order. The manager Grant Butler came round and without apologising "explained why the food was late - apparently due to having to specially prepare individual plates? (I shudder to think what would happen should the restaurant actual have more than three orders?). Grant's attitude was arrogant and without apology or any offer of compensation. I told him that I wanted my order cancelled and his arrogance continued as he then sent the waiter with my food because, nearly 45mins later it was made. I indicated that I did not want the food and I wished to leave the restaurant as soon as my drink was done! At which point he turned his back and walked away.
What and arrogant unapologetic manager, surely this person has no p[lace in the hospitality industry
