New year disappointment

Took a beautiful drive from Cape Town to Betty's bay and stopped at the botanical gardens for a milkshake. The first hurdle was paying an entrance fee just to go to the Restuarant! Then there was no ice-cream so no milkshake! So we switched to lemonade and cheesecake. This took at least 45 mins to arrive. When we got the bill we realised it cost R55 for one slice of cheesecake!! Our New Zealand visitors were most unimpressed!!
