Very small portion sold as a large

We recently made the mistake of supporting the fishaways at Monte Casino. We asked the lady how big the large fish and chips was and she said that it was a LARGE piece, We ordered this for the kids, we were shocked when we received it and it was less than halve the length of the take away box. I took it back and complained and was told that it is a "LARGE" piece to which I told them it is not this piece was approx 8-9cm in length and about 3-4cm wide. Eventually my mom had the franchisee on the line and after a heated debate we threatened to report this matter with the consumer protector. We were told to go and complain as it would not make any difference to her. The portions are misrepresented on the menus and no weights is given. I complained on the fishaways facebook page and was asked for my contact details so that they could contact me. I gave it to them on 9 Dec and was told that they would contact me. On 21Dec I informed them that I have not been contacted, They relogged it and said I would be contacted as a matter of urgency. I have still not been contacted. Thus come Friday I will start the process of logging a formal complaint based on misrepresentation. have a good day!
