Substituting sizes without informing the customers

I visited the Fishaways at the Gateway food court this afternoon (20th Nov 2013) to order the large hake & chips. Upon me querying the details of the takeaway with the teller, I was informed that the option comes with a large hake & chips. I then paid for it & thought all was well.

However, when I opened the container there were two small hakes instead of the large hake I had purchased!

I ventured back to the store & discussed the matter with the manager (Michael) who stated very brazenly that there was a shortage of hake & that Fishaways does not need to inform its customers when they substitute. He was adamant that two small hakes equals a large hake. I did try to reason with him that customers need to be informed when ordering items that are directly impacted by the shortage. However, he was simply not interested & just kept repeating himself.

My gripe is:
1) I was informed by the teller that the order comes with a large hake, yet I was given two tiny ones instead.
2) The manager mentioned that Fishaways does not need to inform customers that it will be substituting the large hake for two small ones.
