My wife and I frequent this restaurant on a regular basis. On Saturday 24h Dec 2013 We once again went for an early Dinner (16:00hrs) I ordered a Cod Fish & Prawns priced at R175 the waiter informed me that it was not a full portion of Cod but if I wanted a full portion (300 grams) it would cost R225 .I accepted
Another waiter delivered the meal to the table and I noticed that the Cod didn't look like 300grams, he said that it was the Normal size as disclosed on the menu, then the waiter that initially took the order came back with the floor manager (Hil) and argued that it was the right size. I told them that I would pay the full price R225
I must also add that my wife's supposed to be Rump tasted more like topside., but did not complain about it
The way the situation was handled was atrocious. Catch another Sucker I will never set a foot back in BEIRA ALTA again
