Pity about the other review

I came to your site to give the little Bistro in Welgemoed the thumbs up it deserves. I live in Welgemoed, but we normally had to go to town or the vineyards to have some decent food (breakfast or lunch / dinner) always went to town for something to eat. I saw there was another review and unfortunately it was a complaint and not a compliment. I read through the review and nowhere did they mention anything about the place itself or the food. Only about the liquor that was or wasn't put in their glass.
My wife and I have been regular customers to Arugula since it opened. What immediately becomes apparent is the way they love to prepare the food. As it says on the board: 'Slow, best ingredients and with care'. Now that is my kind of place. Ok, admittedly the fact that they serve Origin coffee does help as well. ;-)
Service? The old adage remains true here. If you train your staff properly, there will be good service. And there really is.
I can really recommend a visit to see how the chefs prepare your meal in a full open kitchen with the smells wafting through the place.
