Found a fried potato chip in my cuppuccino

While driving from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth, we stopped at the Steers at Stormsriver for 2 cuppuccinos. While stirring mine I saw a foreign object coming to the surface. Upon closer inspection I saw it was a potato chip of about 5 cm! I was totally disgusted, especially because I already took 2 sips. I immediately took it back. It was replaced with only a quick apology and no explanation! How did the potato chip get into the cuppuccino?! This is unacceptable!
