Yesterday, requested for my bill and the waitress brought the card machine as i needed to swipe. I swiped my card for the amount R174. She waited a sec & then said this machine is not working it didnt go through, no printout etc. She then came with a second card machine, which i swiped again and it went through. But as i was about to get up & leave, my phone went off & luckily i get sms notifications from my bank & it showed 2 transactions going off, 1st one at 16h09, 2nd one at 16h12 - both deducting R174 from my account as it was visible on my balance. I asked for the manager (MARK), explained the situation, and showing that sms's to him was not proof enough. I asked him can i go get a statement from the atm, he said no that cant be proof enough as it will show the same thing. After a heated debate and what felt like i was trying to ROB Primi, I left, leaving all my info behind, promised to be contacted in the morning which did not happen. I called Primi today, I called the bank & spent 20mins on the phone, back n forth, i was now told by Mark a statement is good enough?? WHAT an inconvenience of my time and money!! Clearly not a customer orientated "restaurant"!
