Charged twice for the same bill

On Wednesday the 8th of May my boyfriend and I went to Spur to have supper, we then asked our waitress to bring the machine to swipe the card, she brought the machine to our table, I then swiped my card put in my pin and the machine timed out, she then told us to pay at the front, I asked her if the transaction went hrough and she assured me that it had not, we then swipped the card at the front desk again, when I went home I checked my bank statement and the amount of R300.00 went off twice, luckily my boyfriend was still at the shopping centre, he went back to Spur and explained what had happened to the manager who advised that we should bring in our bank statement and he would sort it out the next day.
On May 9th, we went back to Spur with the statement, which clearly showed that we had paid twice, there was a young manager there that was so sincere towards us, he the called a guy by the name of Brett, who assume was his superior, Brett was just rude about the situation, and said he cannot do anything and that and that the money would be automatically reversed within 24 hours which never happened, he also said that someone would contact me regarding my query will also did happen
