Bella Bellota
BAD food and a BAD attitude

I have been to Bella Bellota in High Street and I had a very bad meal. I then decided to give them another try and went to their Durbanville branch for a meal on Saturday night. I was disgusted and disappointed at giving them a second chance. Our food took an hour and a half with no apologies from anyone explaining what the delay was. Bu the time our food eventually arrived we were ravenous. (Order placed at 19:00 - food arrived 20:30). Each order was just pathetic. The pasta was literally floating in oil. The 'sauces' were oily and thick. The burger roll was so dry and old and the burger toppings were a joke. The buffalo wings were almost unrecognisable. It is TOTALLY unacceptable. We called the manager over, and to our disbelief, had absolutely NOTHING to say for himself. No apology, no explanation.. NOTHING. He simply cleared our plates and walked away. When we called him over a second time to discuss our bill, he was nowhere to be seen and we were told he was on a phone call in his office. Is this what service and restaurant standards have come to? I'm still in shock.
