Driving towards Nicolway Shopping Centre today along William Nicol and I was absolutely appalled by the fact that a scooter driver almost ran over a pedestrian trying to cross the road. It almost looked like he was trying to hit her. I hooted and flashed my lights at him. He quickly speeded up and went racing ahead weaving in and out of traffic. The registration number on the bike was XLY 890 GP. Not good advertising for debonairs and don't we have enough road fatalities already??
