Not impressed

On the 26 of October 2013, I made a booking at Mythos in Irene Village for the evening at 7 pm. The person who answered the phone explained that they only had space available outside. I asked him what would happen if it started raining and he responded with amusement "Is it going to rain, sir? ". Thinking well, he probably checked the weather and I gladly accepted the outside table. The evening we arrived and our table was literately placed in the middle of the pathway to the restaurant's main door, which obviously did not impress me, but I did not pursue the subject and let it be. About half an hour later it started raining only lightly, seen as we were situated beneath felt umbrellas, the light rain did not bother us at the beginning, but later as the evening progressed it truly got very irritating as water droplets were falling everywhere on our table and no one came to offer us another table. While this was happening there were new customers taken in to the restaurant! I am very disappointed in the this poor behavior of a fairly good restaurant, we had to cancel our deserts because we had to literally eat in the rain.
