Tranna Indian Restaurant And Take Away
Turned away from the restaurant

On Sunday evening (03/03/2013) I went to the Wonderboom restaurant. While aproaching the entrance a gentleman approached me and asked if he could help me. I then asked for a table for one. His immediate response was 'No don't have'. I was a bit suprised as the restaurant was almost empty. We were standing next to an empty table as we spoke. Thinking maybe they have bookings I then asked if I could get take away then. His response was again 'No, you can't'. From there it became clear to me he had other reasons for refusing me entry into his restaurant and take away. Sending an email to Atranna did not help as they did not respond to it. I am now asking myself if the restaurant policy has a problem with singles or maybe there is some other admission criteria I did not satisfy. I don't want to go as far as saying maybe a young african male walking alone, not in a suit on a Sunday evening looked a bit criminal to the indian gentleman at Tranna, but am tempted to. All I know for sure I will never go there again and will certailnly tell the friend who had recommended the masala curry about the hostile reception I got there.
