Disasterous Birthday due to Greedy Overbooking

We have celebrated many momentous occasions at Casalinga. Sunday we booked a table of 14 for a 40th birthday party. Seated outside, the restaurant was heavily overbooked. Before we received the main course it began to pour with rain. They had no rain plan and there was nowhere to put all the guests seated outside. The panicked waiters started slapping half plated, cold and poorly presented plates of food in front of us, trying to make us eat quickly. We sat in the downpoor with water cascading through the umbrellas and soaking us, our table and food. There was no where for us to go unless we wanted to stand with our plates in our hands in the bar. Eventually we gave up trying to eat and dashed for the bar. When it stopped raining they took up back outside and sat us on wet wicker chairs where all the ladies dresses got soaked. Back inside we went. Staff were in such a panic that the desserts were slapped on plates, coffee didn't arrive, no plates or forks came for our birthday cake. Eventually we gave up asking for service, paid the bill and left very disappointed. 40th party ruined. That comes from being greedy and overbooking a restaurant in rainy season, no alternative plan.
