I purchased a full chicken and 4 rolls from Nandos a week ago. When placing my order, the lady asked me if I wanted it cut in 8. I said "no, please cut in 4. My husband and I have noticed that whenever we ask for chicken to be cut in 8, the pieces are always overdone/skin burnt. I asked the lady at the counter, how much extra butter would cost me. She had already done the debit card payment so I took out some change. She declined taking money, saying "we will give you extra butter'...I thanked her and went to the pick and pay express store next door to buy milk and bread whilst my order was getting ready. I picked up the order and left. Opening the packet at home, I found no butter at all and the chicken was cut in 8 pieces... at least 50% of the pieces were overdone/partially burnt. We enjoy the butter from Nandos with the portuguese rolls (hence me asking for extra butter) and definitely did not enjoy our home margarine with it. My husband reminded me that the last time we purchased Nandos we had the same problem with the butter. They didn't give us any. Very disappointed!!! Small things make a difference to taste.
