Mcdonalds
Failure to provide instant prize

Cafes, Bars, Restaurants

On the 6th of October 2013 I bought a medium meal and an ice cream cone from the Mcdonalds in Waverley, Pretoria and subsequently received two sticker cards relating to the Mzanzi Millions Monopoly competition. One of the stickers indicated that I had won an instant prize of a small fries that could be redeemed at any Mcdonalds and at any time between now and November 2013. Five minutes after purchasing my meal I walked back into the branch to redeem my prize, only to be told that the sticker was not valid since it didn't have a pink background. This was the same sticker they gave me five minutes earlier. When I asked for a new sticker since this one was clearly, they refused.

If a company cannot even deliver on an instant prize as small as a small fries, I have to assume they won't deliver on bigger prizes such as a holiday to Mauritius or a R10 000 Visa prepaid card and that the entire competition is.

I am extremely disappionted and encourage people not waste their time or money by entering this competition.
