Hair in food

On Saturday, 7 September 2013 at around 4PM, my wife and I visited SPUR for a meal. We eat at SPUR at least once a month
We ordered starters. My wife ordered a starter that contained rice. My wife had not even completed 30% of her starter when she noticed hair in her food. The hair was too short to be her hair and too long to be mine. It was also interwoven in the rice so it was evident that it had been cooked with the rice. My wife stopped eating immediately. The manager, Carmen, was walking around and came to our table and asked if everything was okay. At that point, my wife notified her of the hair. Carmen took a look at the food and even commented that the hair was woven into the food. At that point Carmen asked my wife if she had ordered a main course yet and that she would add more rice to the main course to compensate for the rice in the starter. We found that to be absolutely disgusting as we would be given the very same thing that had made my wife lose her appetite.
It is disgusting that a manager can make such a suggestion. We immediately paid for our meal and left SPUR. We have not eaten at SPUR since.
It appears that SPUR doesn't take hygiene seriously.
DISGUSTED!!!
