I visited Maestro's on the Beach at Woodbridge Island, Milnerton on Friday night with my boyfriend. We did not have a reservation and were preapred to take our chances with the popolar outside sea-facing tables. Upon entry of the restaurant, the host/manager skipped greeting by asking "do you have a reservation", closely followed by "i dont think we have any space for you". We decided to risk it by going to check ourselves. Low and behold, 3 available tables! We just felt so unwelcome. Any host or hostess or restaurant manager should go out of their way to assist, check available tables and not chase patrons away at the door. We ended up having a really lovely supper (pardoning the forgetful waitress), complimented by tasty imported beer.
