John Dory's Fish
Won't join two tables to make a table for 5

We arrived at Shelley Beach's John Dory having been there on previous holidays and had enjoyed it. There were three empty tables of four right next to each other in the front area. We asked for a table for 5. We were told a table at the back would be finished in about 10 minutes so we must wait. We were shocked and asked if he could join the tables that were literally next to one another. He said NO. They wouldn't be able to get around them. Now that is absurd given that joining them would have actually created more space. We said we weren't happy to wait when he actually could assist immediately. He walked off. I asked one if the waitresses if we could see the manager only to be told that Anthony the man we had spoken to is the floor manager. We went to Spur across from them and were greeted so beautifully and they found space in their busy restaurant. How disappointing John Dory! We have so loved your fish in the past.
