When calling to place an order from Steers, I gave the call center agent the codes in the book. She then said that I must rather just read from the menu what I want. I then placed the order. When paging further through the Mr. Delivery book I then discovered that there is another Steers franchise that is not halaal, where I was ordering originally from the halaal Steers. When I called to make sure that the order was placed with the halaal Steers, the agent then informed me that it was placed with the non-halaal one. The driver had already collected the order and there was nothing that could be done. Thus I had to pay for food which ended up in the rubbish bin because it was not halaal. This whole incident could have been avoided if the agent would just take the codes that I have given her thereby picking up that the order was for the halaal Steers as some of the codes differ between the two Steers. Secondly I feel that if the halaal Take Aways is in a desperate section this mishap could have been avoided as well.
