On 22 August I took my friends from London to the Cattle Baron in Blouberg Rand T View. We ordered steak, all med. The waiter came with a butcher board and showed off some prime cuts, (Raw) informing me and my guests, this is what you will be served.when the meal arrived, it was far from what we ordered, the cuts were dry and tasteless, most likely overcooked or old. I did not want to complain then, as i would've embarrassed my guests. So I decided to call the next evening, hoping to find the Owner or manager on duty. The woman who answered the phone told me that unfortunately she cant deal with my complaint now, because the customers are "streaming"through the door, I asked for the owner: She replied he is busy and I will have to wait until after midnight for him to call me. When I called back about an hour later the next lady answering the phone told me the owner is not on duty tonight: But laughed at me when I told her that I will not let this matter go.she called another lady, (Anta) She informed that she was unable to provide me with The Owner details, because the place is busy now. Not interested in my complaint. Our bill came to ova R600. b for tip.they were hiding the matter.
