WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION ENDS IN DISASTER

The 9th August 2013 took a group of ladies to the Breeze Restuarant, Emerald Casino for an 3 course ALA CARTE lunch to celebrate Women's Day. All our meal specifications was submitted as requested, and only 4 days before our event I received a call from the banqueting coordinator Rachell Motaung that the restuarant will be hosting more than one big group on the day-not true- & suggested a Buffet menu instead. I was not impressed with the menu presented & requested bookings to BOMA restuarant. The restaurant promised to serve us the best & I then suggested a few changes to the menu as they insisted on hosting us. The food was of the poorest quality & instead of an apology the Head chef called very prominent women "A BUNCH OF MOANERS". We were treated with such humiliation and half of the group ended up getting sick. We have requested the restaurant for a refund but to no avail, instead they offered us 25% discount on meals which is not worth our while as the transport will cost us over R7000.00 which we paid for a luxury bus on the day. Also I'm unable to obtain an amended Paid-up Tax invoice as they have recorded incorrect payments, which confirms our hearfelt complaint.
