Spur obviously doesn't train their waiters

We went to Spur Atterbury for lunch today.

We had the worst waiter I have ever had in my entire life.
Spur obviously never even bother to spend time training him.

He started off by bringing us dirty placemats.
Then we saw Spur has recently added Slush to their menu, so we asked him what favours they have.
He responded that they are "Blue Cherry" and "Red Cherry", where the "Blue Cherry" is raspberry and the "Red Cherry" is cherry.

Even though we didn't want to tip him because he was pretty incompetent, we still did, and he didn't even have the decency to say thanks for his tip. What kind of nonsense is this? Waiters should ALWAYS have the common courtesy to thank customers for tipping them, otherwise it just makes us never want to bother tipping waiters ever again.
