I just ordered a meal from Steers at Ferndale Village (approximately 8pm on 22/07/2013) and paid R150, was not given a slip, and absent-mindedly forgot to ask for one. After I left I realised that the R150 I had paid was far too much for what I had ordered, which came to approximately R102, returned to the branch, and said that I'd been overcharged. The assistant did not ask to see my slip but immediately said she would refund me, which to me indicates that the "mistake" was on purpose.
