I bank with various banks to facilitate payments from my clients to my suppliers. Now I bank with Standard bank for that reason. This bank unlike the others continuously set a limit on how much i can pay monthly. I do not expect a consistent amount every month therefore i can not instruct a definite amount. Every month I have to send a "secure message" to request a new limit to be set and that process takes 24 hrs to be activated, if I'm lucky! This is getting extremely frustrating especially when I have to pay my supplier/s urgently. With Other banks I can set my limit on-line via my profile hassle-free. Standard Bank has to improve this because I am so fed-up with this! If i had a choice I would have gladly close my account with such a bank!
