I went into the Sea Point branch of Standard bank on Fri 12 April to get my EFT monthly limit increased. I went in to the bank because it was urgent and I have had problems in the past when I logged a secure message to have it increased. I was told it would be done by Sat. It was not. I received a call on Mon 15 from Nomajama to say it hadn't been done yet, but would be by end of Mon. It has not been done yet (it is now Tue). I have tried to phone Sea Point, the call centre can't get hold of them and no-one from the call centre can help me. I asked to speak to a manager and was just put on hold for a very long time. I have explained the urgency to all I have spoken to, but Standard Bank does not seem to care about my business. With other banks, you can increase your limit via internet banking, but everytime I need to with Standard bank, it is a nightmare. I need this sorted out immediately, and for someone to contact me who can help me.
