My fiance has an account with Absa, but is working abroad. We have registered the account for Cellphone banking and Internet banking, but still we are experiencing troubles regarding the logons. We have phones the Call Centre numerous times just to be listening to music and ads for more than 10 minutes. He has to phone me and i have to phone Absa call centre to have a conference call due to it being his account. At points when they do answer they cant assist us as they say we need to go to the branch. What is the need of then having an extention for these log ons when they cant assist us. Not even to talk about the bad communication skills these staff have. Who will reimburse us for having to wait for answer? Seeing that it is a 24hour call centre why arent there assistance 24hours. Instead of helping us, its much more easier to say go to the nearesrt branch.
