Balance owing and no card

In January I was phoned and told that I have been selected to become a BlueBean Premium Master card client and if I would like to proceed with an application (I was hesitant as Standard bank refused to give me a cheque acc when I started my carreer 22 years ago because I did not have a dagree - and NOW they are interested...). I went through the entire process and my account was immediately approved and created. A few weeks afterwards I received a call that my card is ready for collection but during the verification process the name on my card was incorrect. I was told that this first needed to be rectified. Since then I have received a monthly statement with balances due. Note that I have not used or had access to this account at all. When I phoned Accounts I was told that I could cancel the account, and was then put through to the wrong department and then again put through to another number with no one to answer! No I am stuck with a payment due of R259.40 on an account that I cannot access neither can I get hold of someone to just cancel the account! I am extremely frustrated and angry! Want the costs reversed and my account closed ASAP!
