Change of Account name and only hassles afterwards

On 20 April 2013 I went into Standard Bank Vanderbijlpark to do a transaction and enquire why I once again do not receive SMS notifications.

To my surprise, they have changed the account name and I need to get a new ATM card and that's the reason for not receiving SMS's. (Thanks for the notification)

Once again (3de time now) I requested that the SMS that was working previously be reactivated. The consultant assured me that all will be okay and we left. Today is Debit order day and once again no SMS's.

From previous experience I have heard that apparently there are 2 boxes to tick on the system. One allows you to receive sms's when making a withdrawal and the other is any other transaction. Withdrawal sms's I receive, the other is not working. Please implement procedures to train the assistants to ask what sms's need to be activated or just make one tick box for everything.

After also specifically asking regarding the Internet Bank and being assured all will also be okay, even this is also not working??

Please get this sorted as it was a Standard Bank decision to change the name of the account and to not supply sufficient training to the customer service consultants.
