And now what

I had a credit card that was handed over to your attorneys back in 2010. Arrangements were made to have these amounts to be paid off via debit order.
All was going well until there was a weird debit order that went off my account in somewhere in 2012. I went to the branch to be told that the credit card was retracted from the attorneys and now being dealt with the legal department at standard bank. They then told me that the letter was still to be posted to me of which never was . i then returned the payment at the bank and paid the usual debit order amount.
I then made an arrangement to pay of gthe balance of the outstanding amounts. No where was i told that i was default listed for this at the credit bureau.
In Jan this year i went ands requested the full amounts to be taken off. i requested that i require a letter to confirm that i do not owe any monies for this cc

It is now almost May and i still sit with the predicament of not having the letter and the biggest problem of having a default judgement against my name dated from year 2012.

This is unfair and should Standrd Bank fail to retify this error then i will be forced to seek legal advice
