Blocked internet & mobile banking & swallowed card

Last week I got a phonecall to upgrade my account from an Achiever to a Prestige Account. I asked all the standard questions and since I have been a loyal customer for more than 20 years I said that would be great and they told me I would be informed when my new cards were ready to be collected. The next day I logged onto my internet banking and got told that I was not registered. I logged onto my mobile banking and had the same response. Thinking my account had been hacked I called the Bank. They told me that because of my upgrade, my internet and mobile banking had been blocked until I got my new card number. A warning about this would have been very helpful. I then asked if I can still use all my current cards which I was assured I could... until I went to draw money on Saturday and the ATM swallowed my card! I immediately phoned the helpline only to be told that I can only use my credit card or I can come into any branch and get a temporary card!!! And then have to go back a few days later to get my normal card! I'm now sitting with no cheque card, no internet banking and no mobile banking... waiting for my new fantastic upgrade, which so far, hasn't been fantastic at all.
