I am convinced that FNB has lost the plot and that they are concentrating on their advertising and not on their clients. They are also not very transparent in so-called value added service they offer. Have you ever heard an advertisement where they brag about their FREE data where they tell you that not all contracts qualify? Then there is the roadside assistance that I though I had until I needed it in an emergency. I had a petrol card but recently when I was "upgraded??? " to a platinum cheque card, I was informed that I do not really need the petrol card anymore as I can pay with my cheque card and it has even more value added service than my petrol card. On Friday when I need a tow in service I called the call center only to find out that it is not true. That the card had not been authorized for roadside assistance. I spent nearly half an hour on the phone phoning several different number being referred from the one to the other only to end against a brick wall. you can never speak to a person that can help you. They all tell you it is somebody else's fault and you need to speak to the bank. The is nobody at the bank you can speak to, they don't know!!!
