Nedbank Complaints department ingores complaint

Nedbank Home Loans Department and their inept staff lead us on a 4 month roller coaster of miss information, incorrect information, bulldozing the customer, staff not following through on requests, shunting us from one to the other, to the most recent the complaints department which is your last resort, just ignoring the issue and not responding. On top of this we were short refunded on the cancelled bond and I have been sent from one person to the other trying to get the outstanding amount paid out to us. I had to fight every step of the way for the 4 months it took them to get a simple bond of less than R200k approved and finalised. After laying a complaint with the relevant department, after we were forced to accept the bond amount due to time constraints, the matter has vanished and I am at my nerves end. How do you get our bank to respond when its staff just shunt you from one person to the next and the department designated to sort out the problem, just does not respond and you are left powerless. The Banking ombutsment has not teeth unless you can proof a long trail of paperwork and even then it takes month or years. Why do I have no rights when it comes to this bank?
