I called African Bank on the 27/02/2013 to find out the arrears on my account. The person that I spoke to gave the the amounts and I paid them on the same day. This month I receive a statement stating that my accounts were in arrears. I called on 16/04/2013 to find out what happened and spoke to Mbali Mia. She confimed that the accounts were in arrears as well as the credit card that I was told was in order in Feb. After placing me on hold for a very long time she said I was given different amount and I did not pay the amounts I was given. I asked the to listen to the recording and she said she has sent my query to another department and I will be contacted the next day. It has been two day and I have not received any feedback. I need to know why I was given to wrong amounts and why I was given an impression that my accounts will be sorted after I have paid. I am trying to get my life in order and clearly African Bank is trying to make life difficult for me. I need this sorted as I am unable to get a job that I have applied for and I am told that my credit is not in order. PLEASE HELP!!!
