FIGHT FOR YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS!

Business & Finance

After voluntarily seeking means of placing myself under the 17.1 &17.2 form (debt review) to not abscond payments to my financial obligations, mfc on two occasions had to be given notice to refrain from further harassment in collecting monies as made relevant under the national credit act 34 of 2005 sections 86, (4)(b)(i)(ii), regulations 24 (3), (4) most importantly sections 88 (3) prohibiting futher legal action against the consumer, .sections 66 of the act relevant to all credit providers INCL MFC to the protection of the consumers rights, none of witch mfc thinks applies to them,!! i stuck to my guns and battled it out until an agreement was met, i continued the process of debt review for the month of march, as obligated under the debt restructuring agreements, on the 12 of april, i settled ALL MY CREDIT ACCOUNTS and debt, as well as volanteraly cancelling my debt feview that includedpaying the arrears amount thus brining the arrears amount back up to date, i would have made normal payment begining may, 18/04/2013 i recived a call from a women demanding the arrears amount to be paid to avoid repo, not inforcing propper ethics when collecting, and poorly updated with fact
