"Steve" FNB's grass is not greener!

Recently I decided to change to FNB due to their strong online presence plus they also have an accounting package which integrates into your online banking profile.

I went to the Vineyard branch to do the necessarys and found myself standing around like an with a number of people sitting down also waiting to be served. There was only one person at a desk assisting the waiting people. There was no floor person assisting those waiting to be helped. Oh my word, I was in a very Turquoise Home Affairs department, how did that happen!?!

After the above experience I decided to leave and try applying online...
I filled in the form and waited... nearly 2 days, I say nearly two because the called me at 16H00 on day 2... really FNB?

The person on the phone was helpful and we got through the formals, she ended by telling me "Your card will arrive by courier, tomorrow at your door at 09H00"... wow, I was impressed despite my previous poor experience...

"Tomorrow" turned out to be a week ago, it arrived today, talk about a poor show... so now I ask, should I just cancel this brand new account right out of the gate?
