I have had my homeloan with standard bank for over 7yrs and i have never skipped a single payment. My home is literally falling apart and i tried applying for an extension on my bond or top up bond so i can fix my home, but i was told i do not qualify nor will i in the future (i found disturbing). I called their 0860123001 number and was told in a very rude manner that i wont get any assistance.

I have been a loyal customer, kept up with my payments and they overlook all of that. I even gave them an option to deduct my bond from my company as to counter any risk, but alas.

I am really dissapointed and actually considering moving my bond elsewhere, maybe they will give me better service.
