I have been dealing with Sanlam on a claim/payout for close on a month now and their service is utterly appaling. The call centre agents are not able to give any relevant information and each one has a differant version on how their "system" works. They aren't able to transfer my phone call to the person who would be able to assist me and who miraculously contacted me and asked that I get back to her with information through the call centre. The person was supposedly going to make payment but the bank supplied an account number with an incorrect digit. This mistake was promptly rectified and given through within hours. It is almost a week later and I have yet to receive ANY feedback from Sanlam. When I phoned yesterday to enquire, the callcentre agent delightfully informed me that the delay was my own fault and that I can wait... yet she couldn't enlighten me further! I would really appreciate someone getting back to me with some solid answers which shouldn't actually be difficult for a "registered financial services provider"!?
