On the 8th April I lodged a claim with Miway, everything seemed well my claim was approved on 11th. I was then referred to an approved panel beater, which cannot accommodate me due to space availability. I called Miway on the 11th, to ask them to refer me to another panel beater. I followed up on the 12th and 15th, still no luck. All I get is that they will try look around for another panel beater. Today 16th, I'm told all Gauteng panel beaters are fully booked till July 2013 due to hail damage that happened last year, so I should wait. How can that be possible??? Your tv ads are MISLEADING the public!!

This is unacceptable, as I'm made to nag and beg for the service I paid for. How do you expect me to drive around with a damaged car for 3 MONTHS???
Does one have to go on a public forum to be heard and to warn others of Miway's incompetence. If I knew I had to wait, I would have signed up with a reliable insurer. I thought the point of insurance is for it to be there when you need it the most. Disappointing service indeed :-(
