BAD SERVICE, Nightmare closing account

I have been to the centurion branch to close my accounts elite and eplan, on that day there were only 2 consults working and there was approx, 7 people in front of me, I went during my lunch hour and waiting for approximately 45 minutes and the queue did not move I spoke to the lady at reception to perhaps get more consultants in, she said no and she advised I submit my cancellation via secure message I have done that over a week ago and no feedback, I call enquires yesterday to be informed the accounts are still open, they attempted transferring me to the branch and kept forwarding me to a number that does not exist
I then called in for the fourth time a lady by the name of Gugu took my details and assured me this will be escalated the account will be closed and I will receive a call by the afternoon. And still nothing I think Standard banks service is pathetic, I have had endless issues with the bank and now even closing my account is such a nightmare. I don't have time to keep calling enquires listening to their IVR and then waiting for a consultant who is still not solving the issue
