Pensioners exploited

I was absolutely horrified to learn from a few pensioners who make use of the SASSA service, that this bank charges them R30.00 per withdrawal when they draw on their SASSA card. Do these people realise that these pensioners only get R1080 per month to live off. R30 can buy them an extra bag of mielie meal which will feed them for another few days. This is 4 - 5 times more than any other banking institute. Do they have the right to exploit our elderly? Why can they not recover these fees in some other way instead of from the elderly? Some of these old people do not even understand what the R30 is for. They were told that they get so much pension and when they draw the money they are short paid. I feel that this is utterly unacceptable, we should be revering our old people and instead we are making their lives more unbearable. Is this fair? I do not think so!!!
