A claim against an insurance for hospital bed occupation is not paid out for an incorrect reason. Making person to person contact to resolve seems not possible.

Many attempts were made to contact Chartis through the Agent handling the case (Mr Khan) as well as the supervisor phone number given in their letter as well as emails to [Email Removed] . No explanation but same letter, but dated 1.3.13
The agent is never reachable and the one occasion where we reached the Supervisor, she put us through to the agent... who was not there.
When the mistake made by Chartis was pointed out by us it took weeks to get feedback from the agent who handles the claim. In fact he still ignores any correspondence with us. The reason given - the hospital concerned is not a hospital in Chartis written answer but we were able to get all the paperwork ®istration number to show that the hospital is a registered hospital. In fact the hospital fulfills all the criteria listed by Chartis itself.
Ignoring us does not help. We are looking for someone senior in Chartis to contact me so we can get this sorted out. I think they are waiting for the claimant to die so the problem goes away.
