Made a deposit at the branch. I used the correct Intials and Surname but an incorrect account number. Teller then deposited to incorrect initials and account number i wrote on deposit. When i then realised the error, i then went back to the bank to rectify the name and account number since the money never went through to the correct person. I was then advised by the teller that they were not able to assist me with the error.
I requested to speak to the branch manager, whom when i approached her about the mistake and requested for help. Mrs. Manager tossed me aside like some piece of of filth, just, an illeterate and told me that it is my problem and not hers. She told me that i am the one who made a mistake and she can not refund me or help with the correction and that she is is too busy to be listening to my story and that she has meetings to attend.
I am disgusted in the whole manner she approached the matter even when i acknowledged my mistake and was only requesting that payment be redeposited to correct account. The teller also was supposed to have made me aware that the name i gave her does not correspond to my info on deposit slip instead of putting to incorrect account.
