I went to deposit an amount of R600 on thursday the 6th of June 2013 at Capitec bank, Isando Branch. I mistekenly gave them an incorrect account number but realised immediately after the payment was done and went back to the same teller and advised, she told me that theres nothing she can do for me becouse I am the one who gave her the wrong account number. I called the Capitec help desk they told me that I must go back to the branch and request them to call help dest and request for the reversal, when I got to the branch they told me there is nothing they can do for me, instead they gave me their client's details and advised that I must call the client and ask him or her to deposit back the money to my account which I did but could not get hold of the client. Not sure whether there is no procedure in place to deal with such instances but I really feel that they treated me unfairly so much for client service.
